This Is Ground consistently recalibrates—evolving handmade leather products in the modern world to accommodate the consumer and their hardware. Born in Los Angeles, our small company has reached a global market through a sophisticated approach to craft. Mike Macadaan created our first piece in 2012, laboring afterhours in his loft. Maintaining this standard of care applied to each piece created, cut, stitched and bound since, This Is Ground amplifies the utility of the Italian Vacchetta we use. Finding optimization of an age old concept, rawhide leather, we tailor for your technology. We remain grounded to the guarantee, of forward innovation with constant quality.

This Is Ground is a leather goods company based in Los Angeles. From their first item, the Cord Taco, which was featured on the Apple Store, they have sought to design and produce quality items which meet their customer’s needs.
This is a mock advertisement and About Page, centered on the coalescence of these two objectives: achieving an artisan’s degree of expertise with materiality and creating designs catered toward today's consumer and their tech.
The About Page is able to slightly diverge in tonality from other content. While much of the copy must focus on the customer and their advantages in having the product, the About Page is able to present itself reflectively, to talk about the company’s foundation and philosophy.
